Sucess Story of Qmobile

With a greater number of Pakistani consumers shifting from basic and simple  mobile phones

 e.g nokia    to more  featured mobile phones like android ,IOS,window . One local company , QMobile –the first Pakistani mobile company  is introducing phones with great features at very low prices to Pakistani market and it seems to be doing great business.

It is now  the largest smartphone brand in Pakistan with an estimated of one million mobile phones sold annually. The name QMobile stands for "Quality Mobile" and was launched in 2009.Qmobile are famous for their Low price and high featured mobiles , now with annual revenue of 1.4 billion ( 2015 ) .This Karachi based company was set up by Mian Pervez Akhtar of Allied Electronics Industries .

Qmobile calls itself a mobile phone company ,however Qmobile does not manufacture its own devices , it imports its all cell phones  from china and sells them under its own brand .The same phones are sold in india e.g under Micromax label.

Qmobile has a large customer base in rural Pakistan ,65% of the population.Qmobile has built itself a strong image in the market ,because of its low cost,high featured and luxury mobiles.Now a we can buy a smartphone in 5000 or less with complete warranty for a year .

A heavy marketing campaign has also helped the company build a strong name. Qmobile is a success story ,a telecom adviser said. It has a high advertising Budget .This is one of the main reason behind its success .Qmobile has always  used Pakistani and Indian hottest celebrities in advertising its product.For example  Fawwad Khan , Iman Ali ,Atif Aslam , Abrarul Haq ,Maira khan , Kareena kapoor and many others did advertisements for QMobile.

From Simple mobiles now its range of devices includes some tablets ,Large amount of phones including Touchscreen ,Qwerty,Android,Window .A window phone was also launched by QMobile in 2015 named QMobile W1. Qmobile has also launched the first Android One smartphone in Pakistan. Qmobile is  now challenging big guns in market.
