4 Misconceptions About Entrepreneurs


1 . Entrepreneurs are born, not made.

There is a misconception that entrepreneurs are born not  made . It is wrong , every one has a potential to become entrepreneur , wheather some one becomes depends upon his hard work , environment and choices . Studies have shown that people with parents who were self employed are more likely to become entrepreneurs .



2.Entrepreneurs are gambler.


A misconception is also that they are gambler and take big risks .but truth is that they usually take moderate risks . This misconceptions is , may be , because that many entrepreneurs often set challenging and difficult goals  containing big risks .

3: Entrepreneurs are motivated primarily by money

It is thinked that entrepreneurs don’t seek financial rewards .However Money is rarely the primary reason entrepreneurs start new firms  .

4 . They must be young & energetic


26 percent of entrepreneurs are ages 20 to 34, 25 percent are ages 35 to 44, 25 percent are ages 45 to 54, and 23 percent are ages 55 to 64.
You might thing that a younger person can perform better . But according to the views of investers ,
They prefer  entrepreneur with better ideas , having a good record , have good skills and abilities

5 . Entrepreneurs love the spotlight


You  can  say that some entrepreneurs love spot light but not all , majority of them donot attract public attention . Let take an example , hundreds of entrepreneurs are working for organizations , working on different products , but how many of entrepreneurs can you name ? may be a dozen or half .
You are familiar with some name for example Bill Gates , Jeff Bezos of Amazon.com , Steve Jobs of Apple Inc , Mark Zuckerburg and may be wih Larry Page and Sergey Bin of Google .
But what about others ??           .Only few of us name the founder of twitter ,Netflix.
These entrepreneurs have either avoided  attention or been passed over by popular press.
