1 . Entrepreneurs
are born, not made.
There is a
misconception that entrepreneurs are born not
made . It is wrong , every one has a potential to become entrepreneur ,
wheather some one becomes depends upon his hard work , environment and choices
. Studies have shown that people with parents who were self employed are more
likely to become entrepreneurs .
2.Entrepreneurs are gambler.
A
misconception is also that they are gambler and take big risks .but truth is
that they usually take moderate risks . This misconceptions is , may be ,
because that many entrepreneurs often set challenging and difficult goals containing big risks .
3: Entrepreneurs are motivated primarily by money
It is thinked that
entrepreneurs don’t seek financial rewards .However Money is rarely the primary
reason entrepreneurs start new firms .
4 . They must be young & energetic
26 percent of entrepreneurs are ages 20 to 34, 25 percent are
ages 35 to 44, 25 percent are ages 45 to 54, and 23 percent are ages 55 to
64.
You might thing that a younger person can perform better . But
according to the views of investers ,
They prefer entrepreneur with better ideas , having a
good record , have good skills and abilities
5 . Entrepreneurs love the spotlight
You
can say that some
entrepreneurs love spot light but not all , majority of them donot attract
public attention . Let take an example , hundreds of entrepreneurs are working
for organizations , working on different products , but how many of
entrepreneurs can you name ? may be a dozen or half .
You are familiar with some name for example Bill
Gates , Jeff Bezos of Amazon.com , Steve Jobs of Apple Inc , Mark Zuckerburg
and may be wih Larry Page and Sergey Bin of Google .
But what about others ?? .Only few of us name the founder of twitter ,Netflix.
These entrepreneurs have either avoided attention or been passed over by popular press.
