Nature and Its Beauty

Nature and Its Beauty

Nature is a word which takes us to a valley of beauty. When it is taken in broadest sense it could be made equal to natural or the physical world. It also shows life in general. Nature was derived from the Latin word Natura, which actually means birth. All around we see is the nature but we hardly observe it. We hear it but never listen to its sweet calls. We feel it everywhere but how many times we really experienced it?

Natural BeautyWe are blessed with the most beautiful creation of God with its presence. Sadly, we never understand its worth, till our every action started questioning for its existence. We acknowledge with an objective view we are merely one of many organisms, and we are not able to survive outside of our natural world of air, earth, water and life. But we tend to be poor leaders in the “hierarchy” of animal life. Despite our greatness, too often we waste, we fight, and we breed heedlessly, and are too self-centered and short-sighted.
Earth is so large if humans destroy themselves and some other species, there still is nature. The soil, oceans, atmosphere and weather would still interact with solar power to allow some life to exist. Earth cannot be a barren place like the moon. Nature brings a lot of beauty in our lives. Nature has a way of affecting our moods and it can force to change our plans. Nature is responsible for sun, clouds, rain and snow. Change in weather also brings change in our mood.
The beauties of nature are the greatest gifts of God to man. How unlucky they are who don’t find time to enjoy it and appreciate it. Nature is present around us in various aspects and shapes. The green charming hills, snow-capped mountains, and the rising and setting sun with its unforgettable glory. The dew drops on the green grass look like pearls. The silvery moon and the twinkling stars that shine in the sky. The roaring waves in the ocean and the lakes which look like sheets of water which add the glory to the treasure of nature. Even the violent aspects of nature like the thundering of clouds with dazzling flashes of lightening, the rain, and the powerful storm are some of the aspects of nature which “Tennyson” termed as nature “red in tooth and claw”. But they have their own charms which captivate man and even inspire in his heart and soul.
Nature has myriad facts and aspects. It also keeps on changing from season to season, from minute to minute. If the sea was bright blue at morning, by noon it has become an emerald green hue. The colors of the sky also keep on changing throughout the day. Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder on the earth, in the air, in the sky and in the ocean. Beauty is present also in the form of human creations such as mother, sisters, brothers, and fathers, friends and companion.
Nature teaches man different lesson like lesson of peace, innocence, purity, love, harmony, simplicity, hope and faith in the glory of God. As referenced from the poem of Wordsworth, he says that:
One impulse from the vernal wood May teach you more of man, of moral evil and of good than all the sages can
Nature is full of beauties which are present almost in everything scattered around us. It is rightly said that “beauty is truth, truth is beauty”
Let us remember that we are not destroying the most precious inheritance we can leave behind for our generation to enjoy
