C++ is not 1st programming language . 1st programming Language was Simula67.

C++ was inspired by it .

Compiler of Java is written in C++.

It is a Middle Level Language .
Middle level languages are those which are high level and also low level . 

It supports Objects oriented principles .

We can write same coding and can use same format in C++ as we use in C .
